Founded in 1994, S. Melgar Investigations, Inc is a firm that stands out amongst its peers not only in longevity but in quality and results, having been able to do so because of the firms committment to prompt, quality, result oriented, cost effective investigations.

Soni Melgar, the principal and owner, has been licensed and fully insured since 1987. Her intuitive and creative approach to each investigation sets the tone and pace for all of the firm.

Serving all of California, the staff has the education, experience, equipment, and motivation to conduct any investigation in a professional and cost effective manner.  The staff knows proper court proceedure and demeanor and has successfully testified as expert witnesses in many arenas.  Collectively the staff has attended several universities, police academies, and industry related training sessions in all facets of investigation.

Many of the staff of investigators are women. They have been proven to be less suspect when conducting surveillance and less intimidating during interviews and statement taking.  This has proven to afford the opportunity to obtain more useful information relative to the investigative process.
